A subway menace who was smoking pot on a Bronx train earlier this month spat on a father and his 4-year-old daughter and threatened them with a knife when the man asked him to put out his blunt, police said Wednesday.
The unidentified suspect was puffing away on a Southbound D train near the Fordham Road station at about 3:20 p.m. on Sept. 5 when the father asked him to stop, police said.
The suspect then flew into a rage, spit on the father and his 4-year-old daughter, and threatened them with a knife, authorities said.
Video captured by another straphanger shows the man — with a lit blunt in his hand — yelling at the father and young daughter after spitting at them.
The father and daughter got off the train at Fordham Road and the suspect stayed on, police said. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is still at large.
